My Story

Born and raised in the enchanting streets of Paris, I pursued my education at University Paris Dauphine PSL and earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Sciences Po Paris. Since June 2005, New York has been my vibrant home.

With a robust background on Wall Street, I made my mark in the world of derivatives sales, thriving at leading firms for over a decade. I then ventured into the startup world, launching two sustainable food ventures, Ancolie and Fresh Bowl.

After facing the challenges of closing both businesses, I took time to focus on raising my children and navigating personal growth. It was during this period that I discovered my passion for helping others. Now, as a Certified Executive Coach, I blend my business experience with life coaching, guiding leaders through complex business challenges and supporting women through significant personal transitions.

Nestled in the West Village, Ancolie was the first business I launched and the ultimate cool kid with a passion for the environment—imagine reusable glass jars with a $2 deposit and daily dishes bursting with local and seasonal vibes. We proudly owned the carbon-neutral game and scored a dazzling four-star rating from the Green Restaurant Association (heck yeah!). But hold up, there's more! We hosted epic events for up to 800 people and whipped up delicious catering daily for all sorts of industries. Ancolie was THE go-to spot for eco-conscious dining in New York City!

Unfortunately, in a difficult but necessary decision, I closed Ancolie to launch my next venture. It was heartbreaking but an essential step in my journey.

Ancolie - Sustainable Café

In 2018, I teamed up to launch Fresh Bowl, my second venture, spreading more healthy vibes to busy New Yorkers. Envision our plastic-free vending machines as superheroes, making waves across the city. Just like at Ancolie, we embraced the use of glass jars with a genius return system in the machine, ensuring that sweet $2 deposit stayed in the loop. With over 10 spots, from Fulton subway, to NYU and various offices, our jar returns soared from 40% in-store to an impressive 80% at the machines. It was a breeze: fresh food, daily restocked—good for you, good for the planet.

However, the pandemic hit hard, forcing me to close Fresh Bowl. It was a tough loss, but one that shaped my next steps.

Fresh Bowl - Vending

During this time, I focused on my children and also dealt with the emotional weight and PTSD from starting and closing multiple ventures. While raising my kids, I continued to work closely with founders, and I realized that coaching was what truly made me happy. So, in 2024, I became a Certified Executive Coach through IPEC, combining my love for entrepreneurship, sustainability, and personal transformation into my coaching practice.

Transition to Coaching

Ancolie - Coaching

The name "Ancolie," inspired by a wildflower in the Alps—a place close to my heart—represents both beauty and resilience. Reflecting on the Greek meaning of "Chloe," or "little flower," I see a symbolic connection to nurturing growth and transformation. Ever since I left finance and started my own ventures, I have always spent time helping other women founders. Integrating this extensive experience with my finance and entrepreneurship background, I offer deep insights and practical strategies.

At Ancolie Coaching, I’m dedicated to empowering women and minority founders, guiding them through business challenges and personal transitions to spark meaningful transformation and impact.🌟
